• Apple Tree Gifts are due Sunday, November 23rd. Thank you to everyone for helping with this project because they gave us more envelopes this year than was asked for and we only had 4 envelopes left on Sunday. THANK YOU!
• We are still taking donations for Valley Mission for the next 2 Sundays. Thank you for all those donations. We had three huge boxes overfilled with “get me healthy again” supplies. Collecting the following items through November 2nd: cough drops, cough syrup, Tylenol, ibuprofen, Pepto, tissues (little purse size or regular tissue boxes), Lysol, Lysol wipes, cold and flu medicines, children’s Tylenol & Motrin.
• TRUCK or TREAT is this Sunday! Come out and join the fun from 3:00-5:00pm at the Weyers Cave Community Center. If you haven’t signed up and would like to help, come on out as we would love to have you.
• On Saturday, November 15th, Love INC will be having a Christmas Extravaganza at Augusta Expo for some of their families. Sign-up sheets are in the Welcome Center. We would like to have 6-8 volunteers for the 8-10am shift and 6-8 for the 10am-12pm shift. This event will be from 8am to 3pm. The volunteers will be used to help the families pick out gifts and be personal shoppers, stock the gifts, or wherever they are needed during their volunteer time.
• Youth Event – Bowling Night. The youth will meet at the Staunton Bowling Lanes on November 16th from 6:00-8:00pm. 5th graders that would like to participate are welcome to come.
