INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Bethany UMC understands that weather can be very difficult in the Valley. Often snow and ice may create hazardous driving conditions and slippery walks and parking lots. We here at Bethany UMC feel that safety should be foremost in times when these decisions of possible cancellation have to be made. So in the event that weather might hinder our worship, we present this information.
If cancellations occur Bethany UMC will announce as follows…

Also we will do our best to send out an email to those on the Bethany email list. We encourage each one to help in spreading this news, in case of cancellation. But we also strongly encourage safety and caution whenever weather is difficult.
A note for Bethany Leadership Team-
We will attempt to communicate this information as soon as possible. We hope to have a decision made by 9 pm, Saturday (when possible). We will begin the cancellation discussions involving the Pastor, Council Chair, Finance Chair and Trustee Chair. Others may be contacted for thoughts and road conditions.
