MAY SENIOR YOUTH (BUMS) ACTIVITIES

May will be extremely exciting with our second annual 30-Hour Famine coming up the weekend of May 14-15. This fun weekend will include many fun games, a spaghetti dinner, which YOU are invited to, sleeping in a cardboard city and of course....hungry teenagers!  The same weekend, on the 16th, we will recongnize our high school and college graduates.

Those April showers will bring May FLOCKING!!  We can't wait for the "return of the pink flamingoes!"  We'll be raising funds for our summer mission trip with these beady eyed fowl starting May 24th.  Here's how it works:

     *  For $20 you can have a flock (12-15 birds) delivered to a friend or family of your choice.
     *  If you receive a flock in your yard, you may have it removed immediately for $15 or have it forwarded to some else for $20.
     *  Extra flocks are only an additional $10.
     *  You may purchase "Flocking Insurance" for $30 which means you have protection from flocking UNLESS a "friend" cancels your insurance at the cost of $40.

This is sure to be a fun-filled way to raise money for our summer mission trip to Lumberton, NC and involve the entire church family and our community.  You can sign up at church or call the "Flamingo Hotline" at 234-8364.  Join in on the fun!

The BUMS annual summer mission trip will be to Lumberton, NC to work with the Native American Cooperative Ministry.  We will be assisting with home repairs and construction in a Native American community.  More details will be coming soon.  The dates are July 11 - 17.
