"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me..." ~ Matthew 25:25-36
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" ~Matthew 25:40
Bethany United Methodist Church is committed to mission work locally, nationally and globally. The need for missions is at an all time high with opportunities for all to contribute physically as well as financially. We are a mission-minded church striving to help those in their time of need. We participate in and coordinate many local community outreach efforts.

We will be parterning with three other churches in the Weyers Cave area (Weyers Cave United Methodist, Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren and Summit Brethren Church) to feed needy children from Clymore Elementary School on the weekends by sending home a backpack full of child-friendly food. Our aim to help feed hungry children when they are not at school. If you would like to help with this mission project by shopping for food, packing backpacks, delivering them to the school or if you would just like more information, please contact Pastor Brad at pastorbrad@ntelos.net or Bridgett Crawford at paige2mac@gmail.com.
